Meet Our Comfort Keepers®
Our team is uniquely qualified and ready to help
Every member of our team is professional and well trained. We conduct a thorough screening and interviewing process to identify the best home care providers, and only those who pass this process go on to complete training to deliver our special brand of home care and become Comfort Keepers®. What truly sets our people apart, though, is their natural gift for caring for others.
All Comfort Keepers pass extensive background checks and complete continuing education. They are bonded, insured and covered by workers' compensation insurance to protect our clients and their families.
Before opening Comfort Keepers in April 2001, Denise Magill worked as Public Accountant for KPMG and at ConAgra Foods focusing primarily on SEC filings, CEO forecast reporting and any reports for senior management and Board of Directors. She is a graduate of Iowa State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration.
Denise has earned numerous awards including "Midlands Business Journal 40 Under 40" award, a graduate of Gallup’s Entrepreneur Acceleration System (2011) and being selected as a conference assistant for Jack Canfield, co-author of the Chicken Soup for the Soul series and as seen in "The Secret".
Denise, with her husband Rick, have been married for 18 years and have two children just in their teenage years. Denise and Rick have a passion for constant and never ending improvement. They belong to a Corporate-facilitated Mastermind Group where they meet quarterly with other Comfort Keeper franchise owners to share best practices and be accountable to goals set.
Another way, Denise and Rick are dedicated to quality is through the growth of the employees both professionally and personally. In 2011, they opened Quality CNA/CMA Classes. This school was designed to continue to develop their own employees’ skills but to also provide an avenue for others in the community to grow professionally.
Generous with her time away from work, Denise serves her community in organizations dedicated to assisting those-in-need on a person-to-person basis. Denise also serves an active role with the Omaha Chamber through leading seminars, Small Business of Month Committee (2014-2015), as well as committee member of BOSS (Business Owners Success Series). In 2015, she became a member of the US Bank Advisory Board.
